After graduation, Dr. Scott started working in a three doctor office in Danville, where he learned the value of family care and palliative therapy to help the patients get out of pain faster. After a year and a half, Dr. Scott went to work for a doctor in Fremont who had offices throughout the bay area with associate doctors managing them. Wanting to learn that model, Dr. Scott stayed for three and a half years running a satellite clinic in San Lorenzo. During that time, a majority of the cases were personal injuries and sports injuries. Dr. Scott then opened his own clinic in Oakland, with an emphasis in personal injury cases. Dr Scott continued to expand his knowledge with specialized training dealing with extremity injuries, including hands and feet, helping patients who were suffering from frozen shoulder syndrome, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and many other conditions.
After two years of commuting from the San Ramon Valley, Dr. Scott decided to move closer to home, which led to the opening of Just Right Chiropractic, in San Ramon, California. Here we are applying all of the knowledge and skills acquired over the last seven years and helping as many people live a healthier life, naturally.
Dr. Scott is a Bay Area native, growing up in the south bay. After serving eight years in the US Army, Dr. Scott worked as an operations supervisor and project manager for a high-tech company in Alameda. While training for a marathon in 2000, Dr. Scott started experiencing low back, hip and leg pain. After seeing his MD and not getting any answers, he decided to see a chiropractor. It was explained to him what was wrong and how chiropractic may help. That was the start of a new way of thinking for him, and led to Dr. Scott going to Palmer College of Chiropractic and in 2006, Dr. Scott Graduated and has been helping people ever since.
